Repair Sessions

Bike repairs

This is for all you folks out there who prefer to spend time riding rather than repairing your bike. We really care about keeping everyone cycling AND we love working on bikes – so we thought we’d combine the two: Repair Sessions!

Our bike repair and service sessions run on Tuesdays and Fridays but if you need to drop your bike off another day – you can!

How it works:

Drop your bike off anytime during our opening hours (Mon, Tues, Friday 9-5pm, Thurs 12.30-6pm and Sat 10-6pm)

  • A full quote will be provided free of charge before we go ahead with any work – either via phone or on the day (if on a Tues or Fri repair session)
  • We will ring you when your bike is ready for pick up!

What we offer:
We offer 3 levels of bike service, all of which will get your bike running safely and smoothly. All parts of the bike are linked, so we think it’s better to do a full service rather than ‘just fix the gears’. For those who don’t want or need a full service though, we can do most bike repair jobs.

We don’t usually take bookings in advance, so feel free to drop your bike off when it suits you (the earlier the better). However, if you want a full service or a big/odd job (e.g., packing a bike into a box for travel, work on a tandem/trike, work on hydraulic disc brakes, etc.), it’d probably be best to contact us in advance so we can fit you in. If you have questions please contact us by email or phone. All repairs are done by experienced (and very friendly) mechanics and all bikes are test ridden before they are returned to you.

What’s the cost?
Below is an outline of our labour charges (parts are not included in these prices):

Yellow service £50
Green service £60
Orange service £80
Punctures £12
Bearing service (hubs, headsets or bottom brackets) £30
Brake service £25
Gear service £25

Here you can find out what’s included in each level of service that we offer.

Every penny you spend on repairing your beautiful bike will go directly to supporting our work to grow the cycling movement!
