Beryl’s Night July 15th

Calling all women, trans and non-binary folk! Beryl’s night* is making another return to the workshop THIS THURSDAY, sign up in advance so we know how many to expect.

We are getting back into the groove of working on bikes and sharing skills in our outdoor workshop, and are coming back to Beryl the Bike (the bike building project we ran through 2019, and then paused in 2020).

We will start this month’s Beryl’s Night with a recap on what we have checked / done on Beryl the bike. We will then continue the work by setting up the brake cables, brakes, levers and pads. Come join us to rebuild Beryl the Bike and / or a cuppa and a chat.

There will not be any time for people to work on their own bikes I’m afraid.

More details in the event here.

/// If you’re feeling a bit under the weather/have been in contact with someone with Covid symptoms/a positive test result, please stay at home///

*The fine print: the aim of Beryl’s Night is to create a space for women and trans folk to learn, fix, teach, socialise, get greasy hands, eat cake, hang out, laugh, use spanner’s, help each other, high five, ask for help, make friends…
Team Beryl believes that it is important to actively create this space, as well as encouraging women & trans folk to participate in the wider cycling community.
