Cycle training rolls on and we are still open for repairs!

Dear beloved friends of The Spoke,

We have spent a couple of days as a team working out how best we can continue to operate through these tough times and keep people pedalling and as many bikes on the road as possible.

The good news is we are carrying on with our cycle training sessions! We ask that you help us limit risk by following government advice and cancelling your session if you have any symptoms, washing your hands regularly and following all updated guidance from Public Health England.

Cycle training can still be done safely while taking extra precautions and keeping at an appropriate distance. Continuing your training with us is also a really great way to support Broken Spoke as well as our freelance instructors, who are in an especially precarious situation with the risk of loss of income.

We are also going to try changing up our offering! *This* weekend, we will not be running the DIY workshop, however on Friday (20/03, 11am – 5pm) and Saturday (21/03, 2pm – 6.30pm) we will be opening up as a repair service as well as continuing to sell second hand bikes.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel our Bikes & Books event, as well as all mechanics courses for the foreseeable future.

We will keep you updated with our activities as things evolve, in the meantime, stay safe and well everybody.

With love, and carefully washed hands,
The staff and board at Broken Spoke xx
